Merry Christmas chaps.. see you all next year. The Hills i think has had a fairly mixed 2019, some great highs (egg spress) and some very lows (cannonball) but overall better than recent years and looking into the right direction, so looking forward to next years plans, should be a positive one if they continue with the many good things they started this year.
Well they would have had to change the days as they would be out if they left it as 2019.My hunch is that the blue thing coolskin saw being lifted was the centre of the waveswinger as they posted a pic of it being by a crane not long after.
i did have a look on the park website yesterday and when you go to check the opening hours it actually says 2019 opening hours but when you click the tab it then says 2020 opening hours so looks like the 2020 opening hours were just put on the 2019 link so the Go karts could definitely be gone
Wasn't it confirmed we're not getting an actual zoo but they needed to apply for a licence to cover the sealion? I reckon go-karts on the calendar was a mistake and will be gone next season...
Glad the sign is gone.. it was so underwhelming and dull. Plus they only have 3 coasters so it didn't fit. They need to go back to the really colourful one than looked liked a theme park. So a new sign is a positive in my book. I hope a *sign* of things to come ;)
I liked the logo, however the coaster track always bugged me, because it just looked like train tracks with sleeps between the rails 🤣I believe it's the right time for a rebrand as well, especially with a new manager who appears to care a lot. It's a new period for the park, so a nice new logo wouldn't go a miss.
The signage did look good so surprised it was being taken down. We need budget on the half functioning rides and new rides and did anyone mention cannonball?
Yea I really liked the signs, but they didnt half take the eye off how dated the building looks, be nice to replace it all, but this is not where they should be spending even 1% of their budget and
Interesting stuff. I can't see them leaving the TTT space empty for next season so I really hope that something is put there. Go Kart P2P attractions really don't interest a lot of people and I for one would love to see them go - that's a great location and could be utilised for something much better. Here's a crazy idea - what about a wild west themed outdoor playground?
id rather they keep the Tidal Wave than replace it with a poxy unsafe, cruel zoo,, who;s reputation at Theme parks are pretty poor. But we'll see, very rare are theses kinda rumours are true. Getting a classic style ride that's new would be the main priority. As much as i want to see the Go karts go (been saying that ever since i joined this forum) there's not much point taking them out unless they've got something to put in it's place. But they'll most certainty be new flat next season.. maybe more considering they did quite a bit last year.
Happy new year all. Due to the length of this group I will now shut it down and we can continue in the 2020 group!
In exciting news the much duller than last year wipeout star was only lit for the first few days - it has been off a good couple of weeks now !

They are investing a crazy amount at Bagatelle, so I dont think it's a sing that we will definitely see something.
Just seen it confirmed that park bagatelle have a new ride the 2020 season
hopefully we will have something new and confirmed soon

Similarly some fully functioning rides wouldn't go amiss.

they are most probably replacing the frame work that holds the logo looks pretty old and can see on the photos that there dismantling it

A whole new entrance would be nice but good to see some action.
Interesting photos on the Facebook page showing the entrance sign being completely dismantled. I the park about to be rebranded again?
The area where the playground was still shows the layout the park once had that area is also a big waste of land.... so much places to build on
