Initially, I thought it was a good idea to move the Carousel out of the entrance area. It is better suited to Main St and it did free up space. And now the Waveswinger is there, it is a nice view when you walk in. However it does feel a little too bare for me, it's too big and open with nothing there at all, other than gravel. I would love to see them build a little plot with flower beds and a big PWH sign. It would look fab and would serve as a photo opportunity too. With the days of social media, everyone wants to take photos and "check in", and where better to do it than in front of an impressive logo/sign.

Yes we had two lovely fountains. Tragic they both got ditched!
Can't locate a picture, but it's on the old park maps. I remember it
What fountain is that? All I remember is the bandstand!
Was there ever a reason for the fountain in main square to be removed? Someone had a bright idea that day.
That ace fountain was left derelict and unused for years so was removed yes. And dont get me started on the one we use to have in main square!
There used to be a Woody stature, is the Fountain still there as I haven’t noticed it on my recent visits, was it removed when the tales of the Coast was?
Id like to see three coloured statures of our three mascots somewhere in that entrance aria.
I like this idea. There is a big expanse of nothingness as soon as you enter the park.
I wonder why the original design of the park had Main Street positioned away from the entrance?
