We can continue the Fireball chat in here from now, to save that other thread getting too long! I was thinking last night, with the recent removal of the Go Karts, the Pedalos having an uncertain future and now Fireball being for sale, I'm sort of hoping that they've managed to get hold of a few rides....

It cant be too long until they start teasing us about the new ride can it? That is if we do even get a new ride
Well Loopings did say that all their parks would receive a major new ride every two years. Obviously Covid could have made that skip a year, but we'll see.
I wouldn't be surprised if the park did get a new ride tbh. While its clear it needs new rides the park also needs doing up. Arguably rattlesnake was a new ride and we got a massive investment in the lake end of the park, so Water Fun Factory might of been a cheaper spend for the year. I reckon they might be trying to aim to get a new ride every other year or something.
Well before we knew of Fireball going up for sale I think most of us would have been happy enough with just a finished Water Fun Factory. It all depends on what the plan is with Fireball. Do we already have a replacement lined up, or does Fireball need to sell first? Whilst the ride could well remain on the park in 2021, I'd be very surprised if they sold it mid-season and just removed it with no replacement lined up.
We all know chances of anything new for 2021 or 22 is remotely slim.
I just think it's a little odd that they would use separate companies for the same job, almost like the parks are being run as independent instead of being part of a chain.
I'm not clued up enough to know if it's unusual or not. Went on a wander past the park today, a few cars parked up in the car park and Fireball was still in situ. No sign of any of the lightwater rides turning up yet.
Does anyone else think it’s strange that Fireball is listed for sale on a different website to the rides at Drayton Manor?
The Wheel in Yarmouth isn't anything to do with the Pleasure Beach this time, it's something that Gt Yarmouth council have worked to bring in as a stand alone attraction.
You are right they did used to and was included with wristband price or four tokens so it will be interesting if they keep that
Eagles Claw would look good next to the log flume.
I hope so 2015- 8 Thrill rides 2021 -4 thrill rides that wouldn’t be good
There was more than 3 thats gone though, there was a small Star Flyer as well. And interestingly that had already been removed by the end of 2020. It is very weird that there hasn't been any sign of the rides being up for sale. Look at Fireball, we soon found out that was for sale! Most parks find out about ride sales in the same way that we do, seeing them advertised through the main brokers and websites. Apparently, Eagles Claw is worth around £250k and Fireball is up for sale for around £185k. It's not a huge difference really, especially if you take into account that PWH were weighing up the idea of given Fireball a little refurb. So they could spend x amount of a refurb, or spend a little bit more and have a much better looking ride. It's just a HUGE coincidence isn't it; LWV announce these ride removals, we ALL say about how it would be great if PWH replaced Fireball with Eagles Claw, and then suddenly Fireball is up for sale. IF they have got Eagles Claw, I really hope they landscape it in a similar way to the Waveswinger. I know we needed a ride on that plot where Fireball was, but it still felt so out of place and most people just walked past it. They need to do something to make that area feel like it's a part of the park, coz it still feels like it's just a path way connecting two areas.
They don’t have to be advertised to be for sale I’d say. The word would have been put out into the industry and a deal struck and my thought is a park will have struck a deal for all three of those flats. (Rapids, tempest and Claw). Hopefully it’s PWH. 🤞
Maybe eagles claw from a certain uk theme park selling all their thrill rides?!
