Mer de Sable is another park in the Loopings group that we dont ever talk about much. It's in northern France, quite close to Parc Asterix just north of Paris. It doesn't look like the best park in the world by far, however this year they are getting a brand new Vekoma junior Boomerang coaster....why cant we have shiney new things 😭 Also, they appear to have a very well looked after HUSS Tri-Star! It's sat in the ground as well, so it looks like they done a similar job to PWH, unless of course HUSS did sell park models, but I'm not sure of that. Either way, it's a shame they couldn't help PWH out to fix theirs!

So the new coaster is actually a second hand Vekoma Rollerskater, bought from a park in South Africa. It's currently being built but not opening until next year now. It's good to see that Loopings are in the market for second hand coasters 👍
It's interesting that their Tristar was also sat in the ground with a nice paint job and also, as you say, not working lol
No I haven't, it was in my original plans for a trip last week, but they announced that the new coaster wouldn't be open until June, so I changed to Parc du Bocasse and then COVID-19 just changed everything else for me lol
Looks like a cute park. Small but with a very decent ride offering and some shows. Found this great video that shows most stuff and I must say it looks great. Would love a little rapids ride like that at PWH. Amusingly when this guy went the Tristar was being run like PWH ran TTT without raising the arm.
