Personally, I disagree. As a child I was scared of rides that went upside-down, particularly the Tempest and Enterprise, as Pleasurewood was one of the first parks I went to. When I finally plucked up the courage to go on them, I realised that going upside-down was really just like going forwards. You noticed it more on Tempest, yes, as it was slower, but it didn't have the weightlessness of the Pirate Ship. To me, that and the Tidal Wave water slide are more thrilling.
The biggest thrill that is no longer in the park? I'd say Fireball.
I was never brave enough to do it as a kid. probably still wouldn't do it. The closest i got was the little sky screamer the hills has a long time ago.. lol trouble is it wasn't very secure and i kept falling out of the restraints. :O good job i was able to hold on tight and it wasn't big.. lol

As a kid I remember there being a rumour going round our school that someone had died on it and I was too scared to go on it.
Obviously now I realise it was just a silly rumour.
I never went on the Voyager either. But Tempest instantly reminds of PWH, Voyager reminds me of a fairground ride.

Was always a great thrill for me! That few seconds of dangling upside down was great! And the tinkling of change falling through the bars!
