Drayton Manor Theme Park in Tamworth, which is home to Thomas Land and a large collection of thrill and family rides has been sold to the owner of Pleasurewood Hills; Looping Group.
The following announcement was made today on the official Drayton Manor Facebook page:
"We can confirm that Drayton Manor Park has been sold to Looping Group, a European Leisure company, as part of a pre-pack administration.
The group will retain Drayton Manor Park’s employees as part of the buy-out, and has very ambitious development plans to ensure the park’s long-term sustainability and make it an even more attractive leisure destination for families."
This increases the number of UK parks owned by Looping to three, with West Midland Safari Park also owned by the group.
