I am pleased to report that despite the static train not being tarted up at all, some nice bark has been added along the remains of what was hyper drive, parrot show signage still in place and Marble Madness remains closed.

It's up
Slightly off topic but worthy of a discussion - I can't believe how poor the opening hours are over at GYPB this year. Its currently open at weekends 12-5pm, and over Easter their "extended" opening hours were 11-6pm. Does it even open in the dark anymore?
Feel like it was only a few years ago that it would be open until 10pm Bank Holidays and all summer.
Just noticed on the website that marble says it's now opening summer 2024 so might have been pushed back.
Lots of posts have been put up in the last few days... including one larger one which I assume will contain the anpr camera.
Really dissapointing
Went today left about 15 minutes ago and I have to say it was very nice to see people enjoying themselves there was a great atmosphere
There was lots of new hight boards and signs but I do worry about cannonball because first thing this morning it broke at the bottom and took 15 minutes for me to get off. Woody was every where today as well as the staff being very friendly and pleasant surprise to see Ricky lark on the gate getting people into the right lanes . The sea lions and seal were spectacular today the hyperdrive plot has been tidied up a little bit but not fully
So as you make your way down the pot hole ridden and cracked road from the end of leisure way into the park, lots of mud and stuff also greet you making it difficult for 2 way traffic.
With no anpr units in sight as yet , you are however greeted with these..... shocking....
I knew my work colleague was a reliable source regarding the information about parking charges, but I still hoped there had been some sort of misunderstanding.
However, this has been posted on Facebook today by Pleasurewood Hills:
It was posted in response to this comment:
There may well be terms and conditions written into the season pass agreement, but if I held one it would leave a very sour taste if I was subsequently told that I would need to pay to park.
Don't think it's a generic looping email because I'm a Drayton manor email receiver and haven't received a similar email but even if it make no sense now it could make sense moving forward as a park to fund new attractions and investments
My colleague visited Pleasurewood Hills over the bank holiday weekend and noticed that signs have appeared in the car park with words to the effect of:
"Have you paid to park".
She enquired at the desk and was told that the signs shouldn't have been displayed "yet".
I have also just received an email survey from Pleasurewood Hills which asked about various things, including what I would consider to be a reasonable parking charge.
What are your thoughts?
Good old pleasurewood start as you mean to go on !
And more...
Going on in a couple of weeks so I'll get some pictures
Well it's good that they have done the work what about wave breaker
Come on, at least share some pictures!lol
